Glumur receives 1st prize for offsprings

Glúmur receives 1st prize for offsprings after a new breeding evaluation was published in autumn 2024. He has 17 judged offsprings and has 118 points in the total score of the breeding evaluation.

His highest judged offspring is Hetja frá Hestkletti, she has received 9.5 for tölt, slow tölt, gallop, rideability and general impression.

Gunnar B. Dungal accepts the award for Glúmur

Glúmur himself is a highly judged stallion with a total score of 8.81, for his conformation (8.67) and rideability (8.9). 

Glúmur won 7y. and older stallions at the Landsmót hestamanna 2018, he was also in the A-finals in the A-class at Fjórðungsmót Vesturlands 2021 and A-finals in A-class at Landsmót hestamanna 2022.

Glúmur is after Glymur from Flekkudal (8.52 - 1st prize) and Orka from Dallandi (8.22) 

Halldór Guðjónsson shows Glúm at the National Equestrian Championships 2018, where he stood first in the 7v. category and older stallions.
